Caribbean Area Manager

We are seeking a resourceful, energetic and proactive individual, based in our Barbados office, to manage and promote our portfolio of wine and spirit brands in select Caribbean markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with regional distributors to inspire and motivate their team to grow sales and market share.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Travel frequently for market visits and trade events
• Stay abreast of market and industry trends
• Manage relevant budgets
• Conduct training/educational seminars
• Analyze customer depletions reports and conduct ongoing competitve analysis
• Develop and maintain cross-cultural relationships while interacting effectively with all levels of management
• Grow market share within assigned territories
REQUIREMENTS
• Working knowledge of international trade practices
• Experience in consumer marketing
• A degree in Management, International Business or Marketing is preferred
• Energetic and self motivated with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Industry experience
• Fluency in French and/or Spanish is preferred
