CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Senior Management team as Chief Accountant; the successful candidate should be innovative, performance-driven and have a record of achievement in effective leadership in order to meet the objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of the company’s core financial reports.
• Management and coordination of all financial reporting and inventory management activities for the company’s multiple-locations.
• Analysis of financial information for effective decision-making. 
• Ensuring that the company’s systems of accounts are compliant in accordance with all government and corporate regulatory systems. 
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
• Manage a team of 15 individuals.

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies

             

• Chartered Accountant or Degree in Accounting.
• At least (5) five years working experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accounting Position.
• In-depth understanding of financial and accounting concepts and IFRS.
• In-depth knowledge of asset management, taxes and compliance procedures.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of ACCPAC and other accounting software.

Experience in a multiple-location organization will be a distinct advantage.
