Commercial Analyst

Job Description

Key Outputs:
  • Development of timely and accurate reporting on and analysis of sales performance and other key performance indicators
  • Monitor targets on a consistent basis and ensure that remedial plans are effected wherever adverse variances exist
  • Assist with the analysis of in-depth trade analysis and similar research and make commercial recommendations where trends, opportunities and threats to the Business are identified
  • Develop insights sources from information pulled from standard reports, ad hoc requests and self-initiated analysis, including the use of external data and competitor intelligence
  • Support key strategic processes across the business including S&OP, JuBP, Commercial Scorecard and the M&E process

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Two or more years of previous experience in commercial/sales analysis or financial analysis
  • BSC in Business Administration, Sales, Finance, Economics, Marketing or similar discipline
  • FMCG experience preferred but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point
  • SAP experience would be an asset
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to work in a faced paced environment with tight deadlines
  • The ability to work on cross functional teams
  • Results oriented with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
