Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrated competence to serve as a resource to the Tetra Tech headquarters office.
- Ability to support the Tetra Tech field staff in the areas of finance, operations, human resources, contracting, procurement, and administration.
- Ability to effectively trouble-shoot operational challenges as they arise.
- Ensure that expenditures are within established budget parameters and in compliance with U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) regulations.
- Prepare project documentation, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Supervise and manage project administrative personnel and oversee management support activities and services.
- Ensure procedures are followed relating to recruiting, hiring and HR management; accounting and financial management; and, travel and security procedures.
- Work closely with the Chief of Party to manage the project’s Clean Energy Innovation Fund.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, administration, or related area (e.g., accounting, management, or compliance).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and operations on similar international, donor-funded programs, including experience managing funds or grants.
- Experience supervising finance and administrative staff.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, email, as well as internet and Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience managing financial transactions on USAID-funded programs.
- Familiarity with USAID regulations and procedures is required, including ADS 303.
- Strong management skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Work experience in the Caribbean is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
