As the first point of direct interaction (face-to-face) with clients, the incumbent is responsible for the professional, courteous and efficient management of all visitors with a view to enhance the service experience and maintain a positive organizational image.
Core Functions:
- Greets visitors and ascertains purpose of visit
- Provides general information where appropriate
- Maintains visitors’ log book
- Directs visitors to relevant section(s)
- Receives and records mail and other correspondence
- Maintains the ambiance of the Front Desk area
- Provides relief for the Telephone Operator
- Receives and dispatches messages in a timely manner
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
- Excellent relations principles & practices
- Good mediation and conflicts resolution skills.
- Good assessment skills of the work and functions of the Bureau
- Good human relations and interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent listening ability
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Five C.X.C / G.C.E subjects including English at the General Proficiency level
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Training in Customer Service
- One (1) year experience in a similar position
