Receptionist Vacancy

As the first point of direct interaction (face-to-face) with clients, the incumbent is responsible for the professional, courteous and efficient management of all visitors with a view to enhance the service experience and maintain a positive organizational image.

Core Functions:
  • Greets visitors and ascertains purpose of visit
  • Provides general information where appropriate
  • Maintains visitors’ log book
  • Directs visitors to relevant section(s)
  • Receives and records mail and other correspondence
  • Maintains the ambiance of the Front Desk area
  • Provides relief for the Telephone Operator
  • Receives and dispatches messages in a timely manner

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
  • Excellent relations principles & practices
  • Good mediation and conflicts resolution skills.
  • Good assessment skills of the work and functions of the Bureau
  • Good human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening ability

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
  • Five C.X.C / G.C.E subjects including English at the General Proficiency level
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Training in Customer Service
  • One (1) year experience in a similar position
