The successful candidate will lead efforts on new technology initiatives – assessment, planning and design. and contribute to the technology strategy while proactively developing talent.
S/he will possess a minimum of five (5) years' programming experience, two (2) of which should be in a supervisory capacity, as well as:
- Certification in Database Management and Administration - MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL.
- Certification in Project Management.
- Practical experience working with SAP Business Objects and SAP Data Services.
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) certification.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, reports, dashboards, systems, or methods.
- Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
- Design and deploy data warehouses.
- Manage and execute the importing of data from multiple sources into a data warehouse.
- Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
- Maintain data storage and access by designing physical databases.
- Maintain database results by setting and enforcing standards and controls.
- Maintain optimal database performance by designing maintenance procedures and troubleshooting problems.
- Maintain data dictionary by revising and entering definitions.
- Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
Knowledge & Competencies:
- Expertise in BI systems support and root cause analysis.
- Expertise in design and development of data warehouses.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
